Lonely geese

I'm new to BYC and love it. I'm in Virginia I have 2 male geese a white Chinese and a sebastapol I had 2 female white Chinese geese but they fell victim to predictors and unfortunately didn't make it so I now have 2 lonely ganders I need female geese bad and was wondering if anyone knew where I could purchase a few somewhere close to me please and thank you for any information

It's always a great pity when the predator takes the females :/

I don't know of anyone in VA with geese for sale, but you can order geese online from several hatcheries.

Try Craigslist in the area where you live-there is usually something available via Craigslist. Remember to keep the new ones separated from your males until you know the girls are healthy and your ganders are accustomed to them.

I've tried Craigslist several times and if I buy geese from a hatchery they will be babies and its out of season and I'll have to wait till they are adults thanks for the help

Try to search for local chicken swap pages on Facebook and post that you are in search of adult geese. It's how we got our geese.

Have you tried Craigslist or local feed stores? Pretty boys.

Lets see if @8GeeseALaying is around she is in Virginia and has geese.
