Loner, non-eating duck... please?

Black duck is a 3 year old swedish duck. a black one. the past 4 days she just stands off by herself, away from the flock. i have not seen her eat or drink, and she occasionally has that concentrating look that I associate with a toddler pooping their pants. I inspected her carefully, her feet look good, she has no hardness in her abdomen, no obvious wounds or painful spots, she just looks depressed. Nothing has changed in her living arrangements, no sale or death of other birds... I am very concerned, since she is MY duck. one of our first 3 ducks ever, and is the one that my kids decided belonged to me... i don't want her to die, but i can sort of see that happening soon.... any advice?

Our goose was like that for a while-except instead of not eating, she ate everything! Try giving her some extra special care, it does help. Maybe a broad spectrum antibiotic like terrymycin might be safe, too.

today she's not walking. she sort of drags herself along with her elbows and pushes with her feet. like swimming, but on land. she drank a tiny bit of water, but i thin she'll pass soon. i can only imagine that she ate something as the snow thawed, like a stick or a rock... thanks for responding though.
