I'm saving up money while I"m still living with my parents. That way I don't have to spend on food, fuel, rent etc. I have plans for Uni and stuff

Hopefully I'll get a turnaround someday soon then

Hopefully! If I can get the forms filled in on time and matched with a girl in Germany, we'll be doing the exchange next year!

It's true. Going to a supermarket and scouring the aisles for chocolate or other treats is one of my favourite things to do

Alrighty, so the interview was the worst interview I've ever been to.
Talk about awkward. Lol.
We had to go around and talk about ourselves. About our favorite toys and such, which I don't play with toys really, so I had no idea.

Then we had to get into groups and perform skits about good customer service and bad customer service.
After that, we had to pick a toy (out of the pile the woman provided) and stand in front of everyone and make a commercial about it.
It was seriously weird. I didn't have much of a problem with it, but I definitely wouldn't want to do it again.

There was only one other girl, and like, six guys.
Of course the guys did way better, because most of them were nerds that loved action figures.

So, I'm not going to be surprised if I don't get a call back from them.
Not only that, I don't think I'll be applying there again.

Well, for the one from when I was a kid, I picked those sit-n-spins. I really liked those.

I just told the truth about not really having a favorite toy. I don't really play with toys.

It was really weird. I didn't like it at all.

Oh, and where is Miss Squishy?

It actually doesn't sound like all that bad of an interview. It's better than just sitting in front of the manager and having him/her grill you, I guess.

I FAILED my German oral today. I'm kinda going off the idea in case I get a similar mental blank and forget everything i've ever learnt as soon as I open my mouth.

Honestly you'll probably be put with a family that has a "perfect" child.
That's what they did when exchange students came to our school.

I'm pretty sure most Germans know English. Or at least some. So if you got there and couldn't remember stuff, they'll be able to help you.
When do you find out if you can go?
