Long Distance Friendships :-(

Well... we thought to send your surprise when we sent your fishie, Danielle.

That means you have to find your little tank... or any 1 gallon clear jug will do well enough

As soon as you are ready, we can send your fishie and his things, along with your little bitty present

You can send the fish anytime. Maybe knowing it's coming will motivate me to go get my tank.

I just really haven't had time here lately to run to storage to get it. I'm sorry.

So, I took my baby Silkies to my grandma's house for her to cull.
She decided to turn them loose with her chickens to see if they'll survive. If they get worse, she said she'll cull them, but wanted to give them a chance.
But.. I also got two new Silkies to replace the babies. They're 1 year old hens. One is white and the other is black.
I'll upload pictures in a second.

Our Golden Laced cochin has decided hes a Roo, too!

That means we have 3 roos! The 2 Cochin roos (Snuggles and Lacey) only have one girl, Angel, the frizzle.

So that means now we have to decide between Lacey and Snuggles to keep.

Snuggles was the chick that loved getting held so much

though now he has turned into somewhat of a grump. We are teaching him not to peck at us by bopping him on the head.... which only took one lesson for Velvet to never try that again and settle into his cute, wonderful rooster self.
Snuggles hasn't gotten it yet though

He has better feathering though. Lacey doesen't peck, but hes timid and doesent like being picked up, but he is a Glod Lace which is pretty.
I dont want to let go of any of my babies

But in the next month we might have to choose between Snuggles and Lacey

Ohhhh! Cute Silkies! I'm glad your grandma is going to give the little ones a chance, too!

Don't you just hate it when the ones you like are the ones you have to get rid of?

I'd pick whichever one was the nicest.

Yeah, I'm glad she is too. It sucks they had to get their beaks all messed up, but then again I got some nice Silkies because of it.
It was perfect timing. Literally just found out about them and decided to get them immediately. Lol.

I meant to show this to you last week.
Lookie what's in my grandma's pond.

It's so huge! It's also been in her pond for several years, but this year it's a lot bigger.
I think it's super pretty.
