It's a koi fish.

Been in there for several years. So pretty!

Friends of mine have a pond full of goldfish. Pelicans come swimming by and eat them by the tens.

They keep having to replace the poor things

Why don't they get some other kind of fish instead?

It's a very small pond. I don't think anything of a larger species would physically fit in there

They've added a little mesh thing over the top, but birds with long beaks pull out all the stops...

Looks like they need to do something else. Lol
It's got to get pretty expensive after a while of replacing all the fish over and over again.

They multiply so fast though. Every time I go there seem to be fifty new small ones... the water's pretty murky though, so you can only see the golden ones. I know, howevere, that there's a massive black one that's forever lurking around

Uhhhhh..... I cant think of what I said to make you think that Flare! But it must have been some time ago anyway.... sure is confusing!



A koi, Danielle? Cant you sell one that size for a thousand dollars or some such?

Something about natural water areas (ponds, ect) scares me! Must be all the alligators and crocs I know are waiting out there to nibble on me!
