Oh, were those the right pictures?


The first one is actually the oldest. My hair was really long in it, but it was pulled back so you can't really.
The blonde is what happened after it was all over with. Super short. I cried.

The last one is after I went back to black. The flash was overwhelming, but it was a good picture of my hair.
I tried to make the last two the same pose for comparison reasons. I think they turned out almost perfect! Minus the flash.

Why does it seem some horses always want to freak out at shows?

My mom had a mare named Paloma.. she was young and in training.. but we took her along to one of the bigger shows fanny and I were in.. just so she could have the experience of being there for the weekend and the sights and sounds.
I was really busy before a class.. and I don't think I ever heard how it happened... but there I was doing the 'touch up' bit to fanny, and who gallops past me but Paloma.. looking totally freaked.
Some totally moronic people were chasing after her... like 3 of them. So I scrambled after as well. I don't know what on earth they wre thinking.. but anyway.. she ran herself right into this low wall (it was weirdly makeshift)... and galloped, with an obvious limp, for a quarter mile after, with these stranger morons chasing her at a full run. I couldn't even catch up with them. Someone around the barn Paloma ran into managed to catch her... and we got her back to our barn. She had a long gash on her foreleg with a huge wad of flesh hanging off. The vet said she tore a ligament as well. I wanted so bad to throttle those people! If they hadn't chased her, either she wouldn't have run herself into the wall, or she wouldn't have kept going after! Grrr!

Our Arabian, Keena, can't go back to the county fair.
A couple years ago, I think three actually, she was there and I was about to get her ready to show.
I was getting dressed in the stall across from her when I hear this huge "bang!". Then I hear people yelling and I turn around and she had reared up and gotten her feet through the bars and stuck.
Not only that, she was tied (because it's a rule there), and she was caught up in her rope.
They finally cut the rope and she got out, but she had huge cuts on her legs and face. Needless to say I had to drop out of my class.

She always gets freaked out when she's around a bunch of people. We decided she wasn't safe to be at fair, because of all the little kids and such.
She hasn't been back since.

They do look nicely matched, I had to tilt my head to see there was no tp roll in the last one

Weddings... yep. Well... It doesen't matter overmuch to me if you go just to sign papers. - Very generous of me!

What DOES matter... is that you go in a beautiful dress!

As I said, I didn't care about weddings until I saw the dress show.. Have you seen it? I know that I only like expensive dresses now

In fact, I know I only like Pnina Tornei.

I fell in love with a dress over the television set. I mean.. I LOOVE it.. and I don't know how I will ever settle for anything else.

You can complain here all you like. Promise. I won't get tired of it. I'm a whiny butt sometimes

From the clogging when I was a kid.. I had one knee that would give me trouble back then.. and I wore a tight stretchy brace thing on it.. you know, the ones with the hole around the knee cap. There was just that one kind that helped.. and they really did help. It didn't get sore or weak if I wore it.

Maybe one of those would help prevent your knee from getting re-injured?

If you don't mind my asking... I know I have heard the term a bit before... but what is Fibromyalgia anyway?

I'm cheap. Lol.


I've seen the show a couple times at my grandma's house. I don't watch TV here.
I do like those Pnina Tornei dresses too, but I wouldn't pay that much for them.

Well... can't you wear it under long pants? The stretchy ones, no one would be able to see anyway.

No.. they could not, in any way, fire you over it. If they see it and ask about it, you can just say your knee is a little weak and you are trying to prevent an injury. Plenty of people, like middle aged guys, wear those back braces, you know.
