The mystery critter is a tadpole

A Florida frog.. since you like Florida lizards and roaches so much

I thought he was cute.... but his siblings were all fish food. He managed to avoid being eaten for a week in the tank, so I thought it would be neat to let him turn into a frog.. hehe!

He is on the young side, so still growing. His fins will get a little longer. In the meantime, he will be better able to withstand stress.. and the lady sending him on is a proessional fish shipper/packer... so she won't make any mistakes like us. There will be a cool pack in the box to keep him from becoming overheated too. I think it might have been the heat to do the blue boy in

Anyway.. this male is a Black Copper.. like Firefly kind of. Hes only 3 months, so he wont be a true adult until 4 or 5 months.

Put an Almond leaf in the water. This boy should be coming in a few days. When mine ship. The lady has 200 fish in this shipment so we are waiting in line for our turn to have ours sent

I love frogs! Maybe when he gets bigger I can put him in grandma's pond.

I liked all the little things too! There was a lot more presents then I thought there'd be..
I won't say too much because Liz hasn't gotten hers.
