Oh...and don't do like I did and have extra mosquito larva leftover and leave in the house uncovered...those little boogers hatch fast

one day i caught a bunch from our little pond with our fish net and by the morning ..................Hmmmm not good!

Alright. I feed him twice a day, even though he always gives me this "I'm so hungry" look.

The snail likes to get on the bulb thing and make it sink, get off of it, then he'll (I assumed it was a he) climb the side of the tank and do it again.
The other snail is still laying there.

well the other snail might be dead....don't know....all the snails are in MY tank LOL give it a couple of days and then scoop it out if no movement. the snails in my tank (that are active) love to climb to the top of the dividers and then all of a sudden fall/float to the bottom again...it's a snail thing

just remember small ,small feedings of everything...they are piggies! like the brine shrimp eggs(orange thingies) .....mine get maybe 5 once a day. It's hard though...becky got this teeeny tiny spoon thing to scoop them out with and I need my glasses to make sure i am not giving them too much

Funny Monty!

2 times a day at whatever food it is but equal in size to 5 or 6 of the pellets... should give you about 3 months of food (I .. hehexagerated the first time hehe!). I still have a ton of food from the first stuff we ever bought

Even with a dozen fish.

I think the plant might put down roots.... Who knows.. you could end up with two in there like I did my water lillies

I found soooo many cool things for my fishies! (Its all supplies).
I even got fishie vitamins!!

If I can figure out something to put some of those in I can send it to you when they get here in a week or two (darn 4th).

And were not allowed to have any fireworks here... no public fireworks this year

because of the drought.

What are we going to do to celebrate?? I've always loved the 4th of July! I want a bonfire in the backyard and roast marshmallows! But mom wanted to now what I would tell the firemen when they showed up?? Ummmm.... "Your cute!"...... Think it would work??

Oops.. I've been giving him 6 of the orange balls twice a day... plus a couple of the other things.
I'm gonna have a fat fish and snail.

I got out that little snail yesterday and he was still in there.
I don't want to take him out if he's still alive though.

My issue is not easily fixed LOL she doesn't want me to have another one, as it would require a new tank.. with a propper lid.. and a light...
