I dont have a happy history with water conditioners
I've used some in the past... and tested the water to find chlorine still high, ammonia high, and high nitrates... so I finally gave up on that sort of thing and just use collected rain water or bottled spring water for my water changes.
I know though, that in some other countries they use things other than chlorine to treat tap water, like hydrogen peroxide... so if thats the case you should be much safer.... in any case if you decide to just treat tap water, I would go with Seachem products, I like them.. or maybe API... but never Aqueon or Tetra. But no, you dont need anything specific for Bettas.... theres nothing in those Betta bowl bottles much different that any other kind... unless one happens to have Indian Almond extract or peat extract in it... though I still wouldn't get it if it was from Aqueon or Tetra (Did I mention I lost fish to those things a few years ago?
)
Is it weird my bed is being overtaken by dog stuffies? And more of them every moment I spend typing away rather than throwing something for him?
