I pretty much like most of the things about the tank, looks like i might be able to start saving sometime within the next few months.. YAY!!!!!

Did you see that one Danielle and I were last talking about? It looks really cool and only $42!!!!! I bet they offer shipping over there

Ohh that one, Yea it is pretty.. but by the looks of it.. it doesn't have a lid.. and i have googled it.... and came up with nada other than the filters that come with it can be temperamental and the little tube cover on them can come off and suck up small fish O.O.

I saw that they are a good little filter
hu.gif

They are supposed to be a little under-powered because they made it so small (
big_smile.png
Less bulky!) but that is actually a really good thing because most filters are overkill for pretty Bettas.... makes them look like they're swirling in a toilet bowl
lol.png

I suppose it just depends what kind of fish you want to get though.

If the little tube cover comes off... thats an easy fix.. just some aquarium glue
cool.png

And the lack of cover... We are jst going to do what we've done many times before and go down to Ace and get a peice of acrylic. $2 fix.. and the guys at Ace will cut your peices to size
cool.png
My tank and moms are covered with acrlic and filled with acrylic deviders
lol.png
And we can make an inconspicuous devider to house both Silver and Tonto in that with the pretty light
big_smile.png

If you really don't want to do that..... Have you considered just buying a bare tank with hood and get a seperate filter and heater? Thats what we did for both our 20's and we spent only $60 on each!
I kinda think you are making things more expensive on yourself than you have to... you could get a tank sooner if it didn't cost so much, right?

That acrylic.. plexiglass stuff is hard to find here
roll.png

Yeah i know it could be cheaper.... But If i buy locally.... its going to be at least 5x more expensive to get everything.... as even a small heater is at least 20$ filters......25$ that's 45$ right there.....and would be more to get the tank.. and the gravel..plants...
hmm.png
ayeayeaye..

It just seems easier ( to me that is) Just to get a tank that would fit nicely in my room.. is on the cheap side ( compared to other things here it is
hmm.png
) requires little maintenance, and is as compact as possible. As it will be either at the end of my bed on my chested draws.. or next to my bed on my bedside table which is right next to the powerpoint.. i have 1 powerpoint in my room and it's in the most annoying place they could of possibly put it

Thanks for the ideas/advice though i am still mulling things over in my brain, and won't make a full decision till i have most of the money saved up
