I even tried the storm thing.... that didn't work.

Then I had on two differnt occasions/spawn attempts with two different pairs of fish... and both times the daddy fish ate up all the eggs.. not even just the mommy fish

I thought... OK it must be because I dont have much live food for them.. though I give them the same things freeze dried.. so I tried feeding them more frequently than you usually would for conditioning the pair... now my favorites, Firefly and Tinkerbell... are FAT!
They are so fat they just lay around and stare at each other through the partitions.. so now I have put them on a diet

LOL... I know I just need things to work out the right way at the right time to be successful... I'm hoping that this attempt will be! Waiting on stuff to come... and I can't wait to try...

Now I just need to get my water parameters perfect. I posted a thread in Random about it. I really want to use peat as well as the Indian Almond leaves as its supposed to encourage them to spawn.. and I DID use peat those years ago when I had a sucessful spawn... but I was also concerned it might mess up my PH too much on the rainwater.

Thanks to that lady's help though... I think I am going to get some bottled Dasani water (full of added minerals) and mix it with my rain water to bring the PH up a a fair bit.. then I can use even more peat... Hahahahaha *cackle* LOL!

Oh.. and Im waiting on that SPawn Aid stuff too.. that I got on aquabid. Its full of amino acids that are supposed to help the fry develop well AND one of the acids is supposed to trigger spawning... like steroids.. Hehehehe!

i'll just buy myself some extra ones i can eat

Timtams are 2 chocolate cookies.. that are rectangular in shape... with a chocolate creamy filling.. coated in chocolate

or there are ones with chewy caramel in the middle
