Long Egg Laying

Let me girls out around 7:30 AM this morning when I looked outside I saw the leader wasn't around. I found her in the coop in the egg laying room. She's been in there for about 45 minutes--I'm suspecting she's trying to lay her egg. Just curious how long do I let her sit in there until I get worried and think it's egg binding? She's new to laying--only laid about 2 before so I'm hoping she's just trying to figure out her pipes

I have one who sits in the box for hours. Even after she's done laying. My head hen usually is in there about an hour.
