Long live the King - the neverending story of Brahmalot!

Pics
Everything is quiet and peaceful in Brahmalot lately. There have been no new crises and no new stories, so here's a little walk down memory lane - Her Majesty, Queen Frack - then. Notice she already has that "Queenly" attitude! Now - The best of mothers, Lady Chrissie (yes, one of those babies is Queen Frack). and now - still the same! More to come!
LOVE THE TRIP DOWN MEMORY LANE! The last pic looks like school is in session. LOL

Thank you for such a fun thread, Sjisty. I'm smitten with your lovely Brahmas - too bad I didn't find this thread until a few days ago and had already ordered my chicks for the year. Now I just want to retire and be a chicken farmer thanks to you. :)

And you know what? I think Prince Lucky sacrificed himself to save Brahmalot knowing he would join his Princess. It's rather noble - and a heckuva lot better love story than Twilight. ;)

Double post. Sorry. Nothing to see here, just goin' round the rooster...

Oops, wrong thread. ;)

Wow, this thread is amazing. Every time I'm away from BYC for a while, and return, the first thing I come to is this thread, in order to see what the chickens of Brahmalot have been up to.
Sjisty, you've made a really nice home for yourself and your chickens, it looks like, from the pictures and stories you post about them. Any hen or rooster that lives with you is lucky.

Hearing about the news of Brahmalot makes me cry, laugh, smile, and frown; I cheer on the chickens that are having difficulties, and boo at the ones who are causing a few difficulties of their own.
Please never stop this thread, Sjisty---it is one-of-a-kind and inspirational. So much so, that once or twice I've nearly decided to do the same thing!

Continue on, remembering that you have fans that love you and your chickens! :D Long live the kingdom of Brahmalot!

The kingdom of Brahmalot has lost a valuable member. We celebrate the life of Court Jester Romeo, a well-loved subject of Brahmalot. Romeo came to Brahmalot as an adult around six years ago, so his age at the time of his demise is unknown. He lived many happy years with his friends and served both Old King Rocky and the present king, Samson. His tiny crow gladdened the hearts of many visitors, and his antics were well enjoyed. Romeo, your memory will live with Brahmalot forever. Rest well, old friend.

Sorry to hear that....old age? He will be missed.
He is missed. This scribe does not know the average year of a serama roo, but this little guy had a long happy life at Brahmalot with no illness until last fall when he came down with wet pox. The kingdom is entirely too quiet without his little scratchy cock-a-doodle-do!

Alas, even the fair kingdom of Brahmalot is not immune to the misfortunes that afflict us all. We would be in abject despair were it not for the small comfort of a long life well-lived.
