Princess Chitti is a mom!

The fans of Brahmalot have watched this beautiful little princess grow into womanhood, even naming her when this scribe ran out of ideas.




Now, Brahmalot is proud to introduce the newest citizen - Chitti's first-born child, hatched today, July 6, 2013!

Awwwwww, how cute is he/she/it? I think Froggie's name is great: Bang Bang.

The chicks stay with their moms until they decide to part ways. Sooner or later the chicks go off by themselves or the mom start roosting again and they just go their separate ways.

Brahmalot has suffered another attack of the dreaded sticky face disease! Princess Marie and her brother are always the worst cases.

After some gentle scrubbing with a sponge, Marie has come out of it stained, but un-sticky.



Luckily, thanks to last night's storm, it looks like all the grapefruits that were unable to be reached to pick are finally on the ground and can be easily disposed of. Maybe this will be the end of sticky face disease until next year!
