Long live the King - the neverending story of Brahmalot!

Friday the 13th seemed to be a good day for a feast of - you guessed it - watermelon! The royal chariot was loaded with large juicy chunks. Everyone enjoyed the surprise treat - Lady Petunia, dressed in green for the party, had one to herself, for a few minutes. Even Lady Hope enjoyed a few bites. She definitely seems to be on the mend from her trauma of a couple of weeks ago. Her injuries still look horrendous, but are hidden under her wings. Lady Blackie's babies soon learned the joy of good cool watermelon! The other youngsters had their first taste, too. Even Mork, the foreign exchange student, enjoyed some. Meanwhile, Ruby, an honorary citizen of Brahmalot, watched over her friends. Ruby is afraid of cameras and always seems to hide when one is about. This scribe thought she caught her this time, but Ruby, the magician, placed a spell on the camera and caused the picture to blur. As this is the only picture not to come out clear, can anyone doubt her powers?
Friday 13th was my birthday :woot
A new day dawns in Brahmalot. After a severe rainstorm overnight, the citizens look forward to a new day of hunting. Lady Hope's injuries still look horrendous, but she continues to improve and seems to look much worse than she feels. She and Old King Rocky are getting along very well and are good for each other. A new prince has wormed his way into the hearts of the giants. Prince George seems to be a bit mentally challenged, but he is a sweetheart and a cuddler, and is quickly working his charms to become a permanent member of Brahmalot. He will stand out in the rain, looking up at the sky. This scribe is afraid that he will drown if he tilts his head up any further!
Hahn, how cute, my Phoenix hens are also special in the rain, they on my lamppost to try and shelter when it's completely open, then when I pushed them off the one hen flew back into their stable but the other flew onto my house roof so I had to get a long wood pole and push her of so she flew onto my stable roof. So then I climbed on a chair and reached up to get her and because she's the less tame hen, she flew back across onto the house roof, so I got her to perch on the pole and lowered her down. Lol she's a bit of a trouble maker and when my other chickens go near her she goes up in the tree, she only lets my two other Phoenix near her, even my wyandotte chicks send her in the air

Nickeyo, yes, my girl did lose toes in the fight. Her on leg pains her yet, and she spends much of her day in the bush, comes out to eat and drink, but seriously avoids the boys. She will forever be a garage chicken where she's safe from the big roos. Ray is a tiny silkie, and she snaps at him right quick when he gets ideas. Lol.

Prince George is something!

Im sorry for her losses

The queen has abandoned her subjects!

With the onset of rain for the past week, Queen Frack has gone back to sleeping in the house of the neighboring giants overnight. This is where she usually lays her eggs, along with her friend, Lady Blackie, but for the past several days she has decided to come inside where it is dry rather than go to the drafty and damp castle in the evenings.
