Loving the story, I just hatched 5 friesian fowl chicks and 1 friesian X Wyandotte under a Wyandotte hen on Tuesday/Wednesday. They grow so quickly, already have little wings

Awe, I love the little beak and feet!

The little prince or princess is showing more than just beak and feet. Proud Lady Buttercup is still a good mother, even though it has been several years since her last children. She is only outside of the castle for short periods of time under strict supervision due to the presence of many dragons flying over the land daily. It appears is it breeding time for dragons and they are teaching their young to hunt.


Meanwhile, the children born over the winter enjoy a beautiful sunny day while they explore the kingdom.




Little Prince Comet prefers to be on a neighboring giant's lap and follows them around like a puppy dog.


There are four additional ladies-in-waiting, so there will be many more children in the coming weeks!

I have a light (in honor of Rocky) and a dark (All hail Prince Marco) who I hope are as nice and friendly as yours appear to be.

I only have another month before they are here!

Wow!!! After 2 1/2 hours of reading; I finally reached the end!!!

Awesome story and love your Brahma's!! Just might try get into a couple for showing and eggs.
No boys though!!! I have King RJ (RIR) and Prince Sunny (Silkie) along with their 6 lovely girls.
One of which is raising 8 baby chicks right now.

Another new life, this time for Lady Carmen!


There is also a new baby under Lady BJ, but she has not presented it to the royal photographer yet. Sadly, one of the three ladies who were sharing a box crushed one of the hatching babies and appeared to be attacking another child as it hatched, so her baby is the one that was given to Lady BJ. If the others hatch, she may or may not be allowed to raise a child, depending on her actions. Lady Alma is still awaiting the birth of two children.
