Long live the King - the neverending story of Brahmalot!

Great Danes!! Such lovely puppies that just grow and grow and grow. Those big clumsy feet will surly step on a little one or two until they figure it out. Here's to smooth introductions and a sense of "job" for Zig and Zag.

More excitement at Brahmalot. The neighboring giants went out to eat, and it was dark by the time they came home. When closing up the castle doors, a possum was found inside the main castle! Luckily, it appears he did not have a chance to create any havoc and he was immediately permanently relocated (to possum heaven) by the man giant. The kingdom appears to be safe again. They are such ugly beasts!

The neighboring giants were so involved in removing the dreaded possum monster from the castle, they forgot to close the doors to the nurseries! This scribe was very surprised to find Lady Blackie and her five children wandering the kingdom at daylight this morning! Luckily, all mothers and children are safe and sound.

Lady Cagney is now sharing her children with the unnamed mother of three. Their children seem to be interchangeable, although Lady Cagney is leaving her children more often. This scribe thinks her plan is to abandon them soon to the other mother, who has now earned the name of Lady Carol (Brady), as she is willing and happy to take in another's children and raise them as her own. The Brady Bunch (although only five) seem happy with the circumstances.

The new Royal Guards are beautiful! Hopefully their training will not take long so they can help keep the Kingdom safe.

Lady Carol...how fitting!!

At present, the Royal Guardians seem to see the citizens of Brahmalot as "squeaky toys." It's going to take some training and some maturing, but soon they will take over nighttime guard duty, provided the neighboring giants learn to close all the doors to the castle.

The castle is made up of several annexes, each with their own entrance, so there are six doors to close each night. Last night, only four doors were closed. The kingdom was very, very lucky - first that the man-giant saw the possum in a corner of the castle, and second, that no other demons came to explore last night and found the open nurseries.

The guards will be 12 weeks old tomorrow and are a whopping 26 pounds each. They have their first visit to the Royal Doctor in about an hour from now.

The Champions were very brave during their visit with the Royal Physician and were given a clean bill of health.

For the most part, they are very smart and eager to please, although do get into trouble faster than you can blink! No boot was harmed in the making of this picture!

Meanwhile, Lady Blackie and children have a picnic.

Lady Blackie is one of the best moms in Brahmalot. She keeps her children close longer than many of the other mothers. The little golden child on the far right has already been abandoned by his mother and stays on the outskirts of Lady Blackie's brood. He seems to know just how close he can get before the protective mom sends him on his way. He is now being housed with little Princess Abby, who was also abandoned by her mom at an early age.
