The ten were hatched at the beginning of October, so they are almost 3 months old.

The citizens of Brahmalot enjoyed their Christmas feast.


Prince Snoopy has come into his manhood and is pestering all the ladies.


The foreign exchange students from the land of Cochin are growing fast!

Brahmalot has seen a boom in children lately, many of whom will be going on quests soon. There are children from the land of Cochin . . .

and Brahmalot's own children from Lady Blackie.


Meanwhile, the ladies have a new annex to the castle, as they cannot seem to share their favorite laying spots.

I have eight assorted hens that are just starting to lay again after finishing a horrible molt this year and they seem to synchronize so they lay on the same day so they can squabble over the preferred nesting box. There are three nice boxes and I have seen three hens on top of each other to use the 'good' one.

This morning the citizens of Brahmalot were treated to rather well-done spaghetti squash. They did not seem to mind the fact that the absent-minded Royal Chef left them in the oven for well over two hours!
