There are quite a few "oldsters" at Brahmalot. It is expected more will be lost in the coming year. Their lives are all celebrated and their passing mourned. Long live Brahmalot!

They have all lived LONG and incredibly happy lives!

Who is king at the moment? In it still Cody and zeke?

Kings Cody and Zeke still rule Brahmalot together. They have been joined by Prince Snoopy, who has taken over care of some of the many ladies of the kingdom.

Brahmalot lost another citizen yesterday. Lady Petunia, fondly known as "Toonie," died peacefully overnight. Toonie was an only child, born quite a few years ago, and was never "right." There was nothing major one could see, except she never scratched and always hung out with the neighboring giants, not liking to socialize with the other citizens of the kingdom. She had her own annex of the castle and rarely came out for years, except for just a little while to visit and get treats. She stopped laying eggs several years ago and never had children of her own, but she was well loved. She had a toe fetish and would chase the neighboring giants' toes to peck and nibble. She was a funny one!

RIP, sweet Toonie. You are already missed.

I'm so sorry for the loss of dear Petunia. A very unique lady, and one hard to forget. I remember her picture sitting on your bed years ago that you sent me, Sjisty. I think she was a human in a chicken's body. You will have good memories of her.

The Beasts of Brahmalot are away for a week learning manners at doggy boot camp. When they come home, they will be surprised with their own castle for two. As they are 110 pounds each and still growing, the neighboring man giant decided to make it big - and so he did!

Spring is in the air at Brahmalot! While there are still some chilly nights ahead, there are signs of warmer weather. The Royal Woodcrafter has been busy. Even though his favorite work of art fell recently, he is checking the pieces over very carefully for his next project -


Last year's children have grown and are looking particularly stunning -




and the winter's babies are forming their friendships -


The foreign exchange students are looking particularly foreign this year!


Lady Tiny has done it again! Two beautiful babies were born to her Friday. Mom is very happy (and very protective) ...


although she did decide to take them on their first outing today, downstairs out of the nursery for some good scratching in the dirt.

Very nice! Spring is in the air in New Mexico as well....daffodils are starting to come up and the testosterone levels are rising in the bachelor pad!

Meanwhile, Lady Flopsymopsycottontail continues to lay her eggs anywhere and everywhere. She refuses to stop what she is doing and just squats wherever she happens to be!

It is the coldest morning of the year at Brahmalot. The neighboring giants' kitchen is wall-to-wall with cages of young ladies and princes, waiting for some sunshine so they can go back outside for the day!
