I have two ducks, about 3 months old, a drake and a duck. They are lovely together.
My boyfriend just moved from France to live with me, he had two Muscovy females (about 4 months old) that he left behind in his parents care. His mum was lazy, didn't really give a **** about them and left the pen open at night and unfortunately a fox ate one of then. He is upset about this (obviously) and the duck is now alone, with just a mirror for company.
His mum has given him the option of releasing the duck into the wild, or sending it back to the farm where they got it from (from duckling) where it will probably be killed and eaten. So the other option is for the duck to be brought to England to live with my ducks where we will take proper care of her.
So my question is, does anyone have any experience of this? Is this a good idea? Will she get along with my ducks?
Thanks
