long story: egg bound, now air in crop. help, please!

Update

I was unable to remove the second egg. However, on final x-ray, it is gone. I'm not sure if it disintegrated or has been crushed into powder (the shell was soft and felt powdery). I flushed her out with saline after having my fingers in there. Bean is resting after passing a large amount of watery stool, likely from the saline. She is panting, I think from pain. I soaked her in warm water and have her on a heating pad for warmth. I plan to let her rest until late tonight before giving her antibiotics.

We were to the point is afternoon that I was going to have to euthanize her. I would rather do so having tried *everything* in my power to save her. I hope you all understand that know this was a risky choice to make.

Sending good wishes.

You certainly did everything you could to save your darling girl.. RIP Bean.

Unfortunately, that only works if the shell is hard enough. From what I read, Bean's issue was that the shells were to soft, possibly her muscles weren't able to grip them to pass them out.
