colitchboy: I would definately put up a nestbox! That will encourage laying. Personally, I have had the best luck with the gray plastic nestboxes-easy to clean and I had put in 4 different styles/types-they fought over these. (I tried the L shaped netbox with the top open, the 3 wood bozes next to each other, a single wood box, and these)
