Long umbilical attached!

We had our first duck just hatch and it’s umbilical is still attached to body and is about an inch long. We have it in incubator on warmer waiting for the siblings to hatch. We have something soft under it to keep it from being hung. Breathing great, chirping great...what do I do about chord!!!???!!
