LOOK at my new spoiled rotton baby!New video, 12/6/11

Its been a little cold here today so I let a fire in the wood heater, curled up in the recliner with my two pigs in my lap for most of the day. Totally lazy day and its been nice and warm. I was thinking what my girls life would be like if I hadn't of gotton them. My two lap pigs. I was wondering if they even know they are pigs or what a pig is supposed to do. Well they do know the eating part, they got that one down.

My girls have been scamming there papa all this week out of a second breakfast. I will get up and feed them and then go back to bed. Then there papa will get up and he says they will squeal like they haven't eaten in a week, so he will feed them. I can't beleive he keeps falling for it.

Pitunia plays the cute pig card, while Stormy plays the baby pig card. They have been working on perfecting there art of begging for awhile. I have to laugh at my SO.

Well what I didn't want to happen to my girls happened. Stormy my youngest girl got bit by the most timid dog in the house. The incident happened in a room I wasn't in at the time so I don't know what got it started. The skin was broken on top and under her ears in the jawl area. Boy this made me mad.

That happend a couple of days ago.

Since the incident happened Stormy has declared war on the dogs and has opened up a can of pure woop arse on them. Now she is just 8 1/2 weeks old so she is still rather small. Today her papa was standing in the living room cuting up bites of carrrots to give my girls for a snack. Another one of my dogs took Stormys bite and she charged the dog and head butted her. By that time here papa had moved into the room where my girls bowls are to finish cutting up the bites. There happend to be two other dogs standing there watching the cutting of the carrots hoping to get a bite. Stormy ran into that room, confronted and head butted these two dogs that clearly didn't take her first bite.
She ain't playing when it comes to the chow.

Do any pigs play when it comes to there food {snacks}

When my So told his BIL the whole story he asked what we did to the pigs for there behavior and we told him nothing. We also told him the dogs were not allowed to growl at my girls or bite them. If they do they get punished. My form of punishment for the dogs is the squirt bottle and taking a fly flap and smacking it hard on the floor, wall, table or any surface that will make a loud noise and speaking in a stearn voice. My BIL made it sound like I was doing wrong for not getting on to Stormy for going after the dogs.

As I have posted in this thread, I have taken many steps with my dogs to make sure that my girls will be safe even having to move one dog to live outside that wasn't gonna accept them.

What I want to know is am I doing the wrong thing by not getting on to my pigs for going after the dogs. The way I see it is, dogs will pack up and possible kill my girls but I don't see my girls killing a dog. Also the dog did take Stormys carrot stick and therefore starting the whole mess.

Over the years I have been dog bit 19 times by dogs {one bite needing stiches} and all these except one have been during feeding time, breaking up fights. I truly think I am doing the right thing. The dogs will learn to get out of Stormys way.

What do you guys think? Also my girls are never left unsupervised with the pigs even long enough to walk to the mailbox. I WILL TAKE NO CHANCES.

All I can say about today is Stormy wanted her carrot stick.

Wow, I don't really know! I want my dogs to be well behaved, but I also want my pig to be well behaved, if she's misbehaving I want to correct her. She's the aggressor when she gets into with the dogs, I'm crazy about her, but she can be a butt head sometimes! As long as I feel they are well matched, I let them work it out between themselves, it's usually my mom's schnauzers she gets into it w/, and they snap back and it's over, no major damage, they have never ganged up on her. She has never gotten into it w/ my dogs (2 danes and a chinese crested).

As for her butt head moments, she wanted to bite the baby goats and puppies at first, I know some of it is because she's jealous, I used a squirt bottle to correct her. She's pretty good w/ them now, even though I think she just tolerates them.

So when do we get to see new pics of the girls? Here are some I got of Hilda today, I was only gone for a short while and someone got my seat!

And she doesn't even look sorry!
