Ok so I’ve been slowly working on my on line of Easter eggers because the ones from hatcheries are not colorful enough for me, and I would like to have a more standardized line. And tonight I was blessed enough to get some vital genetics for my Line. Two purebred ameraucana cockerels. A splash and a black. I am beyond excited for this new step in creating the perfect Easter eggers. I also have a lil over 2dozen eggs in the incubator that are Easter eggers rooster over multiple breeds of hen. If you would like to no more about my standards and goals please leave a comment.

Pretty! So, what exactly are you trying to get in terms of color? What do your hens look like?
I currently have barred rocks, a couple Easter eggers, some buff orps, rir, and silver laced Wyandotte’s. And an Easter eggers rooster that is colored almost like a blue Wheaton. I have their eggs in the bator and they will eventually be replaced with their progeny that will be hatching. I already have 2 that have hatched from them but one is not bearde and he is a cockerel so he will be sold more than likely.

And I love the blue color based Easter eggers and just other variety’s that are not often seen in Easter eggers. It will be a long drawn out process but at least Easter eggers pullets are very easy to sell around here or any type.

Cool! My EE's are pretty standard:

That Dominique rooster over one of the EE's (the darker one in front) created this:

which later turned into this:

though here he does not have his adult feathers. I can get a current picture of him if you want.

Beautiful!:love:love

I used to have an EE (might of been an Americana) and I think she was gorgeous
her name was buttercup

And our flock rooster (Americana) :

my others are your ‘basic’ looking Easter eggers
I’m hoping to get some pretty, fluff faced and colorful chicks next spring from our new rooster *pictured*
Good luck yourself!

I LOVE Easter eggers I have a flock of about 30 with a black copper Marans rooster.
