This is the chick I posted about that I got for my singleton. Theya re very happy together now that they are used to each other... but could it look more like a little penguin? I am so in love!

Black Austrolorpe??? We have a black aus. and my son named it penguin! It is the sweetest of the bunch~!

It is a "Black Sex-link" " "Black Star", whatever you wanna call it

so a cross between a RIR or NH and a Barred rock hen.

To make it simple we will stick with Penguin.

I get so lost with all the kinds of chickens that there are.

hi kessidy , we have one of those in our mixed batch of brown eggers from MMH , i thought it was an astrolope, now i'm thinking oterwise ???
