LOOK! Poultry Standard of Perfection book!

Does anyone know what the current edition is?? I'm looking on the site that geareduplyn posted and they have editions from 1915, 1928, 1962, etc.

The most current edition is the 2001 edition. The 1985 is OK for current use also. Check Abe semi frequently as the inventory from that many booksellers is constantly changing. If you are interested in collecting for the future you can do as I have done for the past years standards. I always buy one to use every day and one to seal and keep as new. My current copy, the 2001 edition which is beside me here on my desk is getting dogeared, because I am constantly refering to it but, I have pristine copy in my collection.

Sometimes Amazon has them too!

Both of these links are great to look at old books or needed some rare and out of print books. I did find a few and lucky to get some of those books.

I don't think it is "trolling." I post links to Ebay all the time. If I find something good that I think someone might like or be looking for. Plus If I was selling something of interest to poultry folk, I would mention it here too...good for them and me.

That said, I have seen them go for a pretty penny.

You where not trolling. Nothing wrong with your post at all.

I would hope the comment was just poorly worded or interpreted wrong by those who read this thread.

Aw shucks, Mr Coyote (Kstaven) Heck I would not want to have mods going at it and figured I would get more response that way. Not everyone goes to the "Other" forum.

Well with you guys asking me about the link I put it back on it. Heck with the naysayers!

It looked just like that edition you showed. And it does have black and white illustrations-paintings. There are no black and white actual photographs (if that is what you mean by plates). No color at all anywhere in the book.
