Look what I found on my local CL 😍😍

Oh. Apologies for being just a tad bit...persistent  . Can't wait!
Hahaha! I was dying for the last week waiting! The time finally came.

We have a nature center here, about 20 mins away. He was an "exhibit" there. So that made it more difficult.

Nothing can really prepare you for the size and appearance, and he is still so young. It really will shock you. Can't wait to see what happens when he is larger.

He's a little smaller than my male right now, but he's 9 months younger. He will be massive! You lucked out with him

6.5 months is what the official age is. So he is a bit older. Currently in the goat pasture, and he'll stay for a few weeks, then I'll put a few hens in with him.

Ah, I thought he was 4 months. Nonetheless, he'll get huge! Make sure you have hens that can handle him! I put my largest Tsouloufati hen with him and she was left with an open wound from him trying to mate but slipping

What we had been told initially, but apparently there were a few different hatches and she was confused.

I don't know about this one, and I was immediately concerned when I saw him. I am not sure I have any that are bigger than average.

OK, that makes much more sense, because he'd truly be one of a kind if he was 4 months old. I really don't like spreading fear based on my experience, since it's highly misleading, but with your guy being significantly younger (and thus more impulsive) and soon a lot bigger, I thought I should mention it. What's your biggest breed?

Oh I don't think it is spreading fear at all. When you have something this different, I'll take all the caution I can get.

The biggest breed within the flock mix is going to be Orpingtons. All the full breeds I have are older, the younger breeding/laying stock is all mixed.

Jersey Giant is the only breed readily available here in the states that is above average. I had a hen at one point, and looked for her yesterday, but couldn't find her. She may have been a snack, or maybe sitting on eggs somewhere.

Let me see what I can find. Maybe I'll beg the lady for a pullet.
