Could be a wren,I would have guessed a wren but I don't know Florida birds. In Iowa our finches have short fat seed eating beaks and wrens have long pointy bug eating beaks. I do love your pics!![]()
I used the eggs to identify the bird
. This was the first time I’d seen mom since I found the eggs yesterday. I never even paid any attention to the type of bird when I took the pic. I usually have a purple finch lay eggs in my laundry shed, (last 3yrs), but she didn’t show up this year

she stood there for a good 5 minutes calling for her babies, so sad for her
