Here’s mom,

She is a house finch. I’ll update when they hatch!!!!

I would have guessed a wren but I don't know Florida birds. In Iowa our finches have short fat seed eating beaks and wrens have long pointy bug eating beaks. I do love your pics! :love

Could be a wren, :idunnoI used the eggs to identify the bird :caf. This was the first time I’d seen mom since I found the eggs yesterday. I never even paid any attention to the type of bird when I took the pic. I usually have a purple finch lay eggs in my laundry shed, (last 3yrs), but she didn’t show up this year:hit.

So I looked it up for you and it is a Carolina Wren! I read stories of the wrens having nests in a basket, a tool belt, a child seat swing, and a flower pot in Florida! So cool! :D

UPDATE:::::::::
Something got the babies last night!! Coon, Possum, Cat??????
Momma showed up with a spider to feed the babies, and the nest was laying on the patio, empty:hitshe stood there for a good 5 minutes calling for her babies, so sad for her:hit
