I've also found amazing deals at Lowes. You have to love a company that gives back to the people. If they can give you a deal they will! It never hurts to ask, all they can say is no! Be sure to share your projects that you build with all that !!

WOW, that is amazing, congrats! One of the things that I don't like about our Lowe's is that they never have cull lumber, unless it is somewhere I don't know about it and I have looked for it. I stop at Home Depot regularly and I am always getting stuff there super cheap. The other week I got a whole 4X8 sheet of that compressed particle stuff for $1.52 - a strip cut off the long edge for .51 and the rest of the sheet for 1.01. Worked to finish off the project I was working on just perfectly.

Wow! That's great! I'm sending DH there tomorrow after I tell him to look for culled wood, not the good stuff
