Great pics, Thanks for posting those!

Chick grit will help them grind up the greens, (if you haven't already added some to their starter crumbles like you mentioned previously).

And yes, they do grow fast on the game bird starter feed, (but that's the proper rate that keets should grow at).

Thank you.
I drove around 15 miles to get the right food lol because I love them.
Today they moved from the tank to a bunny cage. But they are still on my porch. Hope the probs with the MC are worked out soon and we can move to Guinea Heaven

Beautiful keets! What kind of game bird starter did you get? I am selling my bantams hopefully Saturday, so I will be revamping the coop for guineas. Still debating keets or adults. FM Brown's in Fleetwood has 26% turkey /game bird starter with Amprol, is that enough protein for keets? Sure hope I will have some in a few weeks. Gilbert, my lone adopted guinea is still here 6 weeks later & every morning he has taken to going up on the roof of my large chicken coop & jumping down in the pen before I open their door. He really needs some guinea friends!

cindy, I was over in Oley and got the food there. They pack it in 5 up to 50 lbs bags. By the way..........................maybe you are lucky and they have keets beginning next week. They still have theire chicekn days. Maybe you give them a call (610) 987-3568

26% protein will work. I've used several brands of starter feeds, ranging between 25%-30%... my keets always do better on the 30%, but it does cost more.
