Unfortunately I had her for a couple months, doing well. Came home from work one night and found her dead in the cage. I have no idea what could have happened.

Aw that's terrible.

She could have gotten sick before you caught her.

Birds hide sicknesses VERY well, because In the wild, predators go for

weaker, easier to catch birds. My uncle's neighbor found a large parrot

eating with their chickens

They didn't give me any details about it, so

I have no idea what the bird actually was. Good for you for taking the little

one in, though

well if she lived a couple months, she was living the good life for awhile.
budgies are like that...9 times out of 10 you have no idea there is a problem
and then you find them at the bottom of the cage.

I'm glad you found her.
