Yay You!!!! that's a GREAT freebie & it's going to make a fantastic coop!!

I was just out in the lumberyard where I work, perusing some garage doors we took down & replaced. I have already scored a
3-0x 6-8 solid core door to use for one side of our new coop, & fixing to email my husband to see if he wants to utilize the garage door panels. They will even let our driver deliver them to the barn for free, just to get them out of the way!

Congrats on your new coop!! I agree, use the PVC pipe as roller to move it on to your trailer. We moved a greenhouse that way.

It really needs a little "porch" added on, and then a little light, and perhaps a mini rocking chair

big greg - I am worried about it being too tall also, but my DH doesn't think so. He may change his mind whenever he gets over there and looks at it.

BeardedChick - I agree that it is not fun to have something bouncing down the highway. I haven't had it happen to me, but have seen it many times. My DH will strap it down before we get onto the highway. I guess that it is a man thing (nothing personal to any men), but he thinks that he knows what he is doind.

Wildsky - That is exactly what my little boy is going to be saying....lol He is going to want it for his playhouse/fort. I just know it now. And of course he is going to want a porch and rocking chair and just has to have some lights put in it....lol Actually, he does have a little rocking chair that he would probably try to get me to put in there for him...lol Sorry, but no you cannot have it. You live too far away for it anyway. It sure would be a long drive from Nebraska to Louisiana and then back. It wouldn't be free then.....lol

when i was a little girl, we lived for a few months in the black forest in germany.
the village we lived in had no electricty or running water.

but it had the most beautiful houses you could ever imagine
and that coop of yours reminds me of them

i would LOVE to see that coop when you are done with it

i hope you do decorate it all up too

i think it would be a very pretty and unique coop
