I've been looking for a couple Nubian doelings and found a pair the other day. I've been talking back and forth with the breeder. They'll be ready to go at the end of June. They were triplets and the breeder offered up their little wethered brother at a discount so he'll be joining them too!

I'm stoked to say the least. Here's some pics of babies and their mum.

Aww! Very cute!

When I was little, we had what my dad called a nanny goat. Her name was Spice. Her "house" was a the bottom of a big hill in our back yard. My brother and I were sled riding on those round sleds and he told me that when I went past this little bush sticking up out of the snow to grab it then quickly let go and I'd spin the whole way down. Yeah, I spun alright and smacked head first into that goat shed and cut open just above my eye!! My brother used to play Tarzan and jump off the top of the shed and my parents told him not to, that he was gonna break his legs. Of couse, he didn't listen and ended up breaking one of his ankles so bad, he needed surgery on it. All that happened probably 30 years ago, but we never did get another goat after having that one!!

That's great. I am jealous though.

I want goats (as do our children). Dh on the other hand is not too excited. I figured I may be able to talk him into it though.

I'm trying to think up names for them, two little girls and a boy if anyone has any ideas. They are super cute. I drove the two hours to visit them today. Mom is a doll too.

Very cute babies! My two baby buckings are named flag and scout. All my does have female names. I am not too creative at naming them. LOL
