Look what my neighbor GAVE me...!!!!!

Moving by flatbed will be vastly easier, IMHO, than disassembling. Those nails are old, you'd have to remove all the cornerboards, etc... My guess is you'd damage quite a bit trying to disassemble/reassemble. I say jack it up, put it on skids, and put it on a trailor. It will cost something, but NOTHING like a new shed that size and quality of constructions. That is going to be an AWESOME and beautiful coop. Congrats!

How lucky are you!!!!!!

now that I think about it, my neighbors might not like my roosters crowing at 3:59 a.m.! I have told any of them of my plan to move the chickens outside. Now that I think about it, they don't even know I have chickens. After enduring me, as a single mom, raise 4 kids (now 21, 18, 16, 14) they should be happy that all I am raising now is chickens!!!!!! My little village is quiet and peaceful, not so much as a barking dog ever. I should probably check with the town and make sure chickens are legal here!

My sis did this....they jacked up the building to a sufficient height and just backed a lowboy right up under it! Took it to the site and reversed the process! No damage at all, and her building was much older than this one. Good luck!

what a beautiful thing and all the nicer because of the history attached to it.
Personally I would "box it in" first to try and limit any damage from lifting /tilting etc.... I have read some sad stories of of structures simply falling apart from the jarring even when professional movers were used with hydraulic jacks and such.

That's such a great playhouse/shed! I've been thinking about converting my kids playhouse into a hen house because the girls already wander in there when it's raining. But my boys (the youngest is still only 3) won't have a bar of it. My father in law may not be so pleased either as he made it especially for my oldest son (now 13) for his 2nd birthday. Maybe I'll give them another couple of years to think about it. You're so lucky to be able to get stuck in now and convert your shed into something gorgeous for your chickens!!

I don't know if anybodies suggested this before, but find a business that construct wooden sheds for sell and pay them to move it for you. I don't know about where you live but there are sereral of those kind of business around where I live.
