Look what showed up on our doorstep today!

If dogs can think, that one obviously thinks she's died and gone to heaven. Even if you don't keep her, bless you for giving her a few good days in a life that doesn't seem to have had many recently.

First off thank goodness you found her and didn't do what many people do when they first see a pit. Our shelter here gives pits 24hrs for an owner to show then puts them down. They do not adopt them out.
Secondly I love the fact that she was totally infested with ticks and such and she is on the couch. LOL I love seeing when pets are treated as good as people.
Hope she turns out as sweet as she sounds and makes a great pet or finds a great home.

she looks relieved! She is beautiful.................... She is soooo lucky she stumbled on the right door step. I would love to watch the progression of her healing.......please keep us updated!!!!

Should name her LUCKY! cause thats what she is................

She seems to be thinking, ahh, now this is the life..the life I want forever! You are truly a wonderful caring family to take this dog in and take the time to show her what a dog's life can be.
Every state seems to have it's own particular breed, that is over bred. In our state, Utah, it's the Lab. You can literally go to the pound almost every day, and find a pure bred pup, or older dog.
If anyone is interested in a furry best friend, please check out local shelters, or check with a vets office to see if there are any fosters for a particular breed that you know would be best for your family or situation...apt./large yard.
Ang..thank you again for sharing your story!
