I have always thought they were more beautiful than any butterfly and I have wanted to get a tattoo of one on my shoulder for ages...

Additionally, I have heard that to try and catch them for observing or something you should hang a clothes line out, toss a white sheet over it or clip it up, and then shine a bright white spotlight on the sheet.
This will attract all of your nightime bugs and they will land on the sheet- for you to check out!
I have always wanted to try it, but just never get around to it!

They do quite a bit to only live a week. I did not know that that's how long the live.
