this is totally ridiculous!! I have lived here all my life. These Gators are afraid of us. We go out there it gets far away fast. Its not killing my chickens or hurting my kids. We did have a frisky 4ft gator that was going after neighbors dogs, and it was taken care of.
For your info I want a hotwire fence, hubby does not.
Yes we have all sorts of poisonus snakes, actually have had 2 coral manage to get into the house, and they too must die!
Guess what friends of ours have no water and gator was on their doorstep.
Hello we live in florida!
The racoon is dead.
P.s I'm thinking of training my 1 yearold to ride the back of the gator, the 2 y/o already puts her head in his mouth

She said her hubby didn't want one, not she herself? Why is it everyone assumes gators are crazed people eaters? They're actually surprisingly placid creatures if you don't mess with their nests. Having gators is like having bears. Don't feed it, don't threaten it's babies, don't attempt to pet it - you're good. They have a real potential to be dangerous but generally aren't(it's breeding season when you really want to avoid them). I used to swim in a lake as a kid all the time that was known for having gators lurking about, not just me but any kid that lived within a mile of the lake swam in it, our friends, family, even pets. Guess how many of us actually got bitten by a gator?
Now crocs... you stay awayyy from crocs... crikey.
Actually, I hear way more on the news about people getting struck by lightning than killed/attacked by gators... anyone got the statistics on that one?
