Could she belong to someone? Bronze turkeys look almost identical to wild ones. Also it is not recomended to keep turkeys and chickens together because turkeys can get a disease called"blackhead"

The look on that roo's face in the second pic just screams to me. It's say: Jeez, I thought I was being a good roo. You didn't have to bring in the big guns!

What does blackhead do?

I have tried to shu her away but, she likes it her!

I have Broad Breasted accross the street (((she is wild has a different build)))

I have spotted a flocks of turkey around I don't know what happened to hers!

she usually roost up in the pine trees at night

That is really cool, just watch out with housing them together, blackhead disease is very common when they interact closely. just a note it is not bad for the chickens just the turkey.

Actually, the wild animals are probably a lot less likely to have mites than your domesticated ones.

Those Wild Turkeys are getting to be a problem around here in MN. They are chasing out all the pheasants.

All I know is that they stand on the roads looking at you like a herd of buffalo and they won't get out of the way. I always heard you rarely see a true wild turkey in the day, but at dawn when I am headed to work I see groups of 10 to 15 chicks with their mothers running around. And yes, these are the supposedly "wild" ones. No farms in sight.
