Lookie what I found- NJ

Here on Long Island, we really do not produce hay, so EVERYTHING has to be shipped in. The tolls to get here with a car, let alone a huge truck, are horrible. Then, there is the traffic. It's really something. We have been paying $9-10 per bale recently, but I can't wait to see my shipment today which is supposed to be grassy hay for $295/ton. If my horses like it, I'll buy as much of it as I can store!!

We don't have round bales and I have often paid $12.00 per bale in the winter. $15/bale for nice hay and $35/bale for 85 pound nice bales.

What is really weird is that Long Island is supposed to be so famous for its duck farms? Well, try finding decent feed stores for poulty/waterfowl supplies.....
