  1. I was about to order a coop rental and 3 pullets from Clark farm in CT. today...so glad I came across a thread here in BYC. Many posted that they had some very bad experiences with them. I was looking to buy 3 pullets 9-12 weeks old to add to my flock. I have 2 pullets that are 11-12 weeks old now for the last month. My plan was to rent a coop from Clark farm to quarantine the 3 new pullets that I was also planning to get from them. Now I am at square 1. I can't seem to find farms or hatcheries anywhere near home. I live in Rockland County NY. I was willing to drive the 2 hrs to get to Clark farm. I would go back to the place that I purchased my 2 birds from, but I'm leary since my Australorp was sneezing and discharging from nose 2 days after I got her home. She was on doxycyclene for 10 days and has recovered. Am now giving my barred rock the same as she is now showing symptoms.
If anyone knows of places I can get healthy pullets, please let me know. I plan to quarantine the newcomers so that all are safe.

Thanks for your response. I forgot to mention that I am looking for younger birds 9-12 weeks so that they are around the same age as the ones I have now. Also I am looking for Buff Orpingtons and Goldlaced Wyandottes and maybe an Araucana. Again thanks for responding.
