Hi there,
My friend has a flock of chickens who has 3 roasters with mycoplasma, she has a flock of females too. She’s treating them all for it. But she’s unable to keep the boys, the reason being is she’s in a council area and will recieve complaints for the crowing and she can’t risk losing them all.
She recently got the results for the boys DNA, she’s based in east Dunbartonshire, Scotland.
I’ve seen there’s other flocks out there that have kept there chickens and continued to treat them just like she has, I’m hoping there is someone who already has an infected flock who would be willing to take the boys, or knows anyone who would be possibly interested. This will mean the boys won’t need to be culled, we would rather they got to live full and happy lives.
They are all beautiful boys, lavender isn’t very cuddly but the other two will sit on you and allow you to stroke them if you pick them up.
Kind Regards,
Shannon
