Congratulations on a nice move, I bet you will get over the delivered pizza thing quick... just look at those faces!!! Being able to do horse chores w/o a drive sounds awesome plus now you can catch them at the goofy stuff they do. We lease a pasture 3 miles down the road for our boys and we get the "you should have seen them a few minutes ago! They were beautiful, awesome, a show!"... you name it, we missed it. Pasture torn up from the show and only poop for us parents.
We are shopping around ourselves for another possible horse for DH (always keeping and eye out, I guess...) on a rural, small island. Limited, though easier to get their background. We have a trainer/friend who has a great eye and fantastic sources. So, it is always fun no matter what. We just have to be patient- ha ha ha!- and except the limitations. (almost) All horses are good horses and our trainer helps us to work out the bugs. It sounds like you may land yourself a few beauties. Have you ever considered BLM or rescues with you new set up? If you are young enough it could be fun! Keep us posted! YEEEEHAAAA!

Sadly we are not young. So I'm looking commercially. Plus we have two retired horses to take care of and enjoy as well.

but a miracle happened!! I found a young woman to work as a stall cleaner, groomer and so forth. I am so happy!
