Looking for a vet to neuter a rooster

Hello! This year, I added six new chickens to my flock from a hatchery, and I ended up with two roosters ( I only requested females). I plan on keeping them and I don’t mind that they won’t produce eggs but I need them to be neutered. My local vet doesn’t do this and I am not sure what felicity will. I live in Connecticut, and any recommendations will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I got 4 chicks and one turned out to be a male. We did not want to give him away because we were afraid of what might happen to him. So we looked into having him neutered.

We talked to a avian Vet who is an expert. She told us that it’s a very dangerous procedure and veterinarians dont do it any longer. It is very high risk for your rooster, they can hemorrhage out.
However, there is a yearly hormonal implant that is a lot less risky for the rooster. There is initially bloodwork (only before the first implant) that has to be done to make sure he’s healthy. Then the cost is very reasonable.
As with all our animals, they are forever pets. They are not disposable, we made a commitment to care for them. So “Roo” will be having his bloodwork done in a couple weeks, and then get his implant.

Can I ask how much the implant is? Simply curious. And if there's a similar one to make hens stop laying,?
