Hello and welcome to BYC! Glad you joined.
People are giving away friendly cockerels/roosters all the time. Check your local Craigslist and poultry groups on Facebook too.
Make sure you meet any potential bird first to confirm he is friendly, healthy and has no major defects. Then he will need to be quarantined from the flock to ensure he isn't incubating any diseases. Then you can work on integrating him in with the hens.
