Looking for All Flock Feed

I sure hope I can find an All Flock feed

Basically anything is all flock if it has 1% calcium. Unless of course you need a higher protein feed for pullets less than 16 or so weeks old. But those are usually low calcium because it's not good or needed for pre-egg-laying pullets.

So when all my chickens are over 16 weeks old they should be getting 16% protein?

I buy "Flock Raiser" at TSC. It is not a Dumar Feed though. I started using it when I lost a Rooster to Liver Damage. I just put out a bowl of Calcium to supplement the hens if they want. Works great. Runs 17.99 a 50lb bag I think.

It is from Purina and is called "Flock Raiser" crumbles. Chickens love it and my roosters can eat it without problems.

Do they sell it in pellet form? There’s more wasted feed with crumble.

Thank God that they sell it in pellet form! So should I be feeding them grower feed until they are 16 weeks old?

What is the protein percentage in All Flock feed?

I do. I just make sure the wee ones get enough protein until about that age. Most bags have the recommendations on them. That is what I try to follow.
