Hey guys,
I'm getting an all bantam flock going in the spring, some of you may have see my other thread about keeping a few meat birds as pets along with them, so that will be very fun as well.
Otherwise, I'm trying to figure out were to get the bantams chicks. Everyone sells them as straight run, unless I want to pay $20 a chicks, which I don't, and I've been wanting to incubate anyway. So, I have two options for hatching eggs then, I have a friend with a bantam rooster, but we would need a bantam hen to have fertile eggs. I don't care about mixed breeds, so I'm not to picky. Anyone that has a bantam hen in need of adoption, (any age as long as she still lays eggs often enough to collect them for hatching) I am definitely interested. Also interested in hatching eggs, to have that available incase I go the direction of hatching. Plus, any suggestions as to were to order/buy hatching eggs is appreciated as well. I will also look on Craigslist for local pick up, thanks for reading!
