Looking for Barred Hollands

Greetings,
I have two pair of Barred Holland chickens. They will be a year old come May. They are not as large as I hoped and they do not lay many eggs. I was wondering does anyone else like to compare notes and possibly tinker with ideas to improve this breed. David

some chicken breeds are rare for a reason. sandhill has some that might improve yours.
