Looking for beautiful Breeds

My cuckoo Marans and gold laced wyandottes suffer whenever they temperature here gets above 85. Fortunately, that’s rare here. My Easter eggers, barred rocks and buff Orpingtons seem to do fine.
for a beautiful bird that lays well and does well in the heat, I’d say Blue Andalusian.

he is so cute!
This one below is somewhat exactly how one of my chicken looks like she is very sweet and if I pick up his rooster he will scream so loudly then I'd hug him and she would calm him down in a very calming voice.

Gonna be honest--only got to pagee 3 so this might be a repeat, but Aloha chickens! A new AZ breed with mille fleur pattern ad bred for the hot hot heat.
I have come across mentions of the Aloha here and there as a project breed, but haven’t found anything very recent. Do you have a source or page? The pics I’ve seen are really pretty!

I'm trying to think of different breeds I want to get. I don't want just 'normal' birds (leghorns, orpingtons or australorps, normal birds like that.)

Wishlist:
-Heat tolerant! I'll be living in AZ in a few years and I can't have the A.c. in their barn XD
- cold tolerant too because we will be in the part if the state that gets a little below freezing at its coldest
-Broody wouldn't hurt, love my phoenixes going brood and just increasing themselves without my help
- Pretty. I want beautiful birds, with variety in colors and 'extras
A Barred Rock is perfect. So sweet, lays lots of eggs, cool and heat tolerant, but only heritage breeds go broody. The full name is barred (the color of the chicken) Plymouth Rock (the breed), and most every breed comes in different colors. The recognized variety is below:

Barred, Blue, Partridge, Black, Buff, Silver Penciled, Columbian, and White. I like the breed, but don’t have any.

Murray McMurray threw in a bonus chick when we ordered in June. They sent a White Crsted Black Polish. Love him. Very social and adoreable.

For the most part the contents of your post on American Games in general is incorrect.
After my incident with an American gamefowl, I looked them up on Wikipedia to find that their temperament is naturally "aggressive", had previously been used for fighting, & you should never have 2 roos together because they might fight to the death. The roo never attacked me but did attack my dog. I am now more careful with any roo I have as far as early/gentle handling. I am trying to learn from my mistakes.

I ordered 6 Whiting True Blues from McMurray Hatchery. They have an elegant body and gait (likely from their leghorn ancestors) and adorable muffs from their Americana ancestors. They are bred for blue eggs but not at all for feathering so you get a wide variety of feather patters, some I've never seen before anywhere. I have found them to be timid at first compared to my speckled sussex but they warm right up to you as soon as they learn that you feed them. Now my bravest chicken is one of my WTBs. They are leaner than my other birds and would do well in warmer climates, but they also have small combs and muffs which help in the cold. I highly recommend them.
