Our coop is 95% finished and we're looking to paint. I know red & white are traditional, but we're looking for original paint jobs. What have you got?

Hello, I am just waiting to see all the responses you get! We are JUST FINISHING our coop....I was thinking along the lines of neutral colors. (for us) we live in dusty Southern AZ, so white is not agreeable.

And I like the neutral "dusty"

Rose colors.
I can't wait till our coop is finished!

Congratulations on yours!

I haven't finished/painted yet but I'm thinking of a light oliveish tone with off white trim to set it off from my other red and (still) gray buildings. I've got a dark olive picket fence across the front of the property and the house is white so I think it will tie in. If not then it's only paint lol

we used brown paint that the former owners had left here (latex paint, mind you).

But, we were already overbudget on buying the materials and it was FREE, a whole gallon. Besides, brown should blend into the landscape more. (we have a HUGE front yard but a tiny backyard...so blending is a must).

I told DH that we were sticking with the poultry theme, at least....because the color was turkey-turd-brown. LOL

Greg

P.S. (our two sheds are already this same color...so, it matches)

Saw one on here painted as a black and white cow pattern... Then another was flying fried eggs [like the toaster screensaver].

I think those are the most unique I'd seen...
